Heat distribution

An optimized system for efficiency and comfort

Hydraulischer Abgleich ermöglicht Komfort und spart Kosten

High savings potentials can be realised through hydraulic balancing of the heating system. The individual components of the system are matched to each other, such that the heat gets to where it is needed. However, only about 10 percent of all the heating systems in Germany are hydraulically balanced at present.

If there is no hydraulic balancing, the heating surfaces like floor heating or radiators in remote rooms are often not heated properly. This not only affects the efficiency of a condensing device but also increases the heating costs further.

What you have to bear in mind

We can observe the following typical signs when hydraulic balancing is missing:

  • Radiators do not heat up at all or heat up very slowly.
  • Radiators are getting too much supply and have to be turned down.
  • The heating system makes unusual noises, e.g. in the valves or pipes.

Modern heating pumps help in saving electricity

Checking the heating pump is always part of hydraulic balancing. New models use up to 80 percent less electricity compared to outdated pumps, because modern devices are much more efficient and adapt to changes in heat loads continuously. Thus, valuable energy is saved not only during full load, but also in partial-load conditions which are more common.

Reduce emissions – reduce costs

Hydraulic balancing pays off: Your heating system can then be operated with optimum pressure and a lower volume flow rate. This reduces your energy and operating costs and is also good for the environment.
